Use New Employment Assistant to employ an external applicant or an internal applicant who requires a new Employee File (for example, transferring within the same company but to a different business unit in another country).
By selecting the 'Employ' option, Personal Information and Qualifications of the applicant will be transferred to the New Employment Assistant. Some information entered in Requisition or in Offer Details will also be transferred to the New Employment assistant. Complete the steps in the Assistant to create the Employee File.
Note: Only Information captured in New Employment assistant will be transferred to the Employee File. For example: Address is entered in Applicant – Admin but if the Address field is not available in the New Employment Assistant, it will not be transferred to the Employee File.
A record of an Applicant should be available in 'Offered' status.
As a result of this activity, Applicant details and assignment details of the new offer will be transfered to the New Employment Assistant. After creating the Employee File the status of the Applicant record will be changed to 'Employed'. 'Hired for this Requsition' value will be changed as 'Yes' in connected applicant record in the Requisition.
