Enter Contact in the CRM- or SRM-panel

Explanation

This activity is used to enter a lead or account contact in the CRM-panel or a supplier contact in the SRM-panel. Select/open one mail or calendar item in Outlook and then open the CRM- or SRM-panel. Select the record in the Recipients or Attendees list and click the + icon to open the Register Contact dialog. If there are other contacts with a mail address belonging to the same mail domain, these leads, accounts or suppliers will be shown in the Name list. You can also search by entering the ID or Name of the lead, account or supplier or click New to create a new record. Click Add Email as Comm. Method to add the mail address of the recipient/attendee as a communication method for the lead, account or supplier or click Create Contact to add the receipient/attendee as a contact for the lead, account or supplier.

Prerequisites

IFS Outlook Add-In (CRM- or SRM-panel) must have been installed.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a contact is entered for the lead, account or supplier.
