Perform this activity to connect a shift pattern template to a resource, which can then be used when generating the resource's schedule. Connecting a shift pattern template can be performed in Resource Details, Resource Shift Pattern Template and Resource Shift Pattern Mapping pages.
Note that it is only possible to connect a shift pattern template against a resource individual, i.e., not on resource group level. However, multiple resource shift pattern templates can be connected to a resource individual with varying validity periods.
By defining the shift pattern template's date period using Valid From and Valid To fields, the resource's generated schedule will have shifts and breaks within this date period only.
Moreover, by entering a value to Start Sequence No field, a starting day can be set within the selected resource shift pattern template, e.g., "1" for Monday, "2" for Tuesday, and so on.
