This activity is used to enter resource shift types that can be used for defining Resource Shift Pattern Templates and as a template when creating a new shift in the Resource Shift Gantt page. A resource shift type can be defined with a shift start/end date and time within the same day, or as an overnight shift.
The Account Date Source is set to Shift Start by default. For overnight shifts it is allowed to edit the value to either Shift Start or Shift End. However, shifts within the same day can only have Shift Start for account date source.
