Send Direct Delivery Message for Shipments
Explanation
If you are using the EDI message feature, you can send a DIRDEL message to
the ordering customer for parts that have been delivered directly to the end
customer via shipment. You can use this feature to re-send the DIRDEL message
as well.
Prerequisites
- Basic data for the EDI message feature must have been set up in IFS/Connectivity.
- You must have entered data for EDI for applicable ordering customer
in the Customer/Message
Setup. The Method Default option must be enabled for the
message.

The customer order has been created by an internal purchase order.
- The delivery note must have been created via Shipment.
System Effects
The DIRDEL message is sent via EDI to the ordering customer.
