In this page, you can enter return material reason codes. Return material reason codes are used for handling customer returns of delivered parts. A return material reason describes the customers reason to return the part. For every return reason, you also can enter a description and inspection information. The inspection information is a description of how to inspect the material with the current return reason, when it is received from the customer.

As a result of this activity, a return material reason is defined. The defined return material reason will be one of the alternatives you can access when you enter and are handling returned material from customers, it will be available in e.g., in Return Material Authorization.
