Link Employee to Time Base for Time Management

Explanation

Use this page to select whether the employee will use Automatic Insert of Normal Hours, Clocking Controlled Wage Hours, or Job Hour Controlled Wage Hours as his or her time base. In all cases, the employees must have an assigned schedule.

If employees use Automatic Insert of Normal Hours as their time base, they will automatically get normal hours according to schedule for all days. If they register absence, the normal hours will be reduced. They can also use In-clockings and Out-clockings in IFS/Time & Attendance. Registering job hours does not affect Time & Attendance hours.

If they use Clockings as their time base, they must make their In-clockings and Out-clockings in IFS/Time & Attendance, and use IFS/Time Management only to register job hours. Registering job hours does not affect Time & Attendance hours.

The time base Job Hour Controlled Wage Hours can not be combined with clockings. In this case the employee has to register job hours covering all normal time. Registering job Hours does affect Time & Attendance hours.
