Use this activity to update an employee's certificate details after completing a training event.
There are certificates required by an employee according to the job assignment as shown in the Job Based Training page. When the employee has certificate gaps they can be fulfilled by adding him/her to a training course. An employee can be registered directly to a training course. If the employee has already followed the training course and passed this will be indicated in the Result field.
The Update Certificate option can be used to update such certificate records of employees.
In order to perform this activity, the employee is required to have attended and passed the training event.
As a result of this entry, the system will update the employee's certificates by entering a new record in the Employee/Qualifications/Certificates section. The validity start date of the employee certificate will be the end date of the training event.
