This activity is used to allow audits to be connected to any kind of business object, for instance a supplier, project activity or customer. When a business object is made audit aware, an Audit tab will be available in the Attachments section of the required business object, in order to be able to create new, attach existing and view created audits connected to the business object.
An object connection is configured using the Edit Object Connection dialog. To configure an audit object connection for a business object, first select the business object item and click Edit in order to open the Edit Object Connection dialog. Then move the service AuditObjectConnection from Available Services to Connected Services and click OK.
Only a system administrator can access and configure the audit object connections on the Object Connections page.
As a result of this activity, a business object is made audit aware.
