Define Business Plan Drivers

Explanation

This activity is used to define a business plan driver. The business plan driver is a planning dimension used as an alternative to an account. There can be two types of drivers in a business plan. The Planning Driver is used to plan on, for example head count. The Assumption Driver is used in the calculation logic of a planning rule, for example a price list.

To define a business plan driver:

•  Business Plan Drivers page, create a new record and enter Driver ID and description.
• Select the driver type and if the driver will contain amounts or quantities in the Value Type field. If quantity is selected, you can also define a Unit of Measure.
