Create New Sub Contract Valuation Plan

Explanation

Use this activity to create a valuation plan for a Sub Contract. The Sub Contract Valuation Plan shows the forecasted subcontractor payments from the plan date of the Sub Contract Valuation Plan as well as the Sub Contract Valuations created to date. If multiple currency items are available in a Sub Contract, separate plan should be created for each currency.

The Sub Contract Valuation Plan can be created with or without copy from an existing plan.

• If the plan is created without copying from an existing plan, the Certificate Date Schedule on the Sub Contract page is used to calculate the planned payment dates. The payment amount is calculated based on the Discrete Value of each planned item entered manually.

• If the plan is created by copying an existing plan, the planned payment dates and the Discrete Values are copied from the selected plan.

Prerequisites

• A Sub Contract with revision and items.

System Effects

• The Sub Contract value is spread over the contract life cycle representing the forecasted valuations along with payment dates and amounts, including retention release.
