Fulfill Document Requirements

Explanation

Use this activity to insert required documents into a connected object's document survey. In Attachment panel/Document Requirements, you can see the list of part classes that must exist in the document survey before the part can be released. When the required documents are received/developed, they must be inserted into the part's document survey.

You can attach documents to the object using the Documents tab in the Attachment panel.

Prerequisites

• Document requirements must be defined for the part.
• Documents must exist.

System Effects

• The document(s) are connected to the part.
• The part cannot be released until the required documents exist in that part's document survey and are released.
• The required documents must exist in the part's document survey and be released before the part can be released.
