Create Customer Order from Business Opportunity

Explanation

When your business opportunity leads to an order, you can create the customer order from the business opportunity. Click Create Customer Order on the Business Opportunity page. The Create Customer Order dialog appears in order to enter additional information. You must enter the order type, site, reason for winning the opportunity, wanted delivery date and whether the customer order should be created in the Planned or Released status. This information is mandatory.

At this stage, an account previously classified as Prospective must be reclassified as an actual customer. The category in the Account - CRM page is changed to Customer, and you will have to enter the additional information needed to complete creating the customer order.

If the Limit Sales to Assortments option is enabled, the customer is limited to only sale of parts that are connected to the limited assortments. You will not be able to create a customer order if atleast one business opportunity line has a part that is not connected to the limited assortments for the customer.
