Enter Marketing Campaign Header

Explanation

This activity is used to enter a marketing campaign header. The campaign ID is automatically defined when saving the header. However, you can manually enter the campaign ID before saving the header.

An estimated total cost can be added when the campaign header is created. Once actions are added to the campaign, the total cost will show the summary of the cost for each action. Total Cost is expressed in the marketing campaign currency. If a Budget Currency is selected for marketing campaigns in the CRM/SRM Default Values page, the total cost can also be shown in a common currency for all campaigns. 

Prerequisites

• The user should be connected to a representative.

System Effects

This activity has the following system effects:

• A marketing campaign header is created. When the marketing campaign header is saved, the campaign ID appears automatically (if not entered manually). The marketing campaign header receives the Not Started status.
• When you enter a marketing campaign header, the representative connected to the current user is retrieved to the Main Representative field and the Representatives tab.
