This activity is used to identify duplicates to a lead. If the duplicate check has been configured, it will search for other leads or accounts with the same or similar name, contact, address, association number etc when you save a new lead. If duplicates have been identified for the new lead, the duplicates will be shown in the Duplicate Info section on the Lead page. In that section you can also click Remove Duplicate Reasons to clear the list or click Refetch Duplicate Reasons to search for duplicates for a lead. If duplicates have been identified for a lead you can merge the records.
A lead record must have been entered and saved.
