Set Opportunity Revision to Active

Explanation

Use this activity to set an opportunity revision to Active. An active opportunity revision indicates the current valid version of the opportunity details. If an active opportunity revision already exists, the status of this revision will automatically be set to Obsolete when a different opportunity revision is set to Active. The status indicates that the opportunity revision has been in use, but it is not in use anymore. It is not possible to set an opportunity revision to Obsolete manually.

Prerequisites

• An opportunity with lines must have been entered.

System Effects

• The opportunity revision will be set to Active and it will not be possible to manually change the status of an active revision.
• The active opportunity revision will always be the revision displayed by default in the client when showing opportunity lines and items.
• If the opportunity revision is set to Obsolete, no modifications will be allowed.
