Configure Capability Check Settings
Explanation
Use this activity to configure site specific capability check settings.
The capability check settings can be configured in the
Capability Check Settings section on the
Site/Manufacturing/General
tab.
- Schedule and Create Load for Interim Order Operations
- If this option is enabled, capability check created interim
order operations are scheduled in a similar way as shop order operations. Machine and labor load is created for the operations
and can be viewed as Promise Shop Order load in
Machine Load Details and Labor
Load Details pages or Promised Order
load in Visual Capacity Requirements Planning
page. If the work center and/or labor class of the operation has
Finite Capacity enabled, operations are
scheduled according to the remaining capacity for each day after
subtracting already existing load.
- If this option is disabled, interim order operations are not
scheduled, instead the interim order is roughly scheduled using only
fixed and variable lead-time for the part.
- Load Sources to Consider in Finite Loading. Select
the types of workload that should be considered when interim order
operations originating from a capability check are scheduled on finite
work centers and/or labor classes. I.e., the logic will deduct load from
the selected sources from the available capacity and schedule the interim
order operation only according to the remaining capacity on a given day.
