Use this activity to define the number of purchase order arrivals which determines whether factor 1 or factor 2 should be used when recalculating the manufacturing lead time on the supplier for purchase part. This is used in conjunction with Factor 1 and Factor 2 fields and system processing to maintain lead times. The factor options enable the user to reduce the impact of the adjustment to the current lead time defined, during initial start-up periods with a supplier.
