This activity is used to connect a symptom to a fault type which is defined for a function belonging to an item class. In the Failure Analysis Setup Navigator, On the navigator on the left pane, navigate to the fault type for which you want to connect a Symptom and click on it.
As a result of this activity, a symptom is connected to the fault type.
