This activity is used to register alternate part change reasons. A change reason is required when the Change to Alternate Part function is used to replace a quantity of a prime part on a work order material requisition line with a valid alternate part. It is possible to set a default change reason which will be retrieved automatically when performing a change to alternate. Only one change reason can be set as the default value.
