This activity is used to define all the maintenance levels the customer wants performed by default, for every visit of serials with the overhaul object (top part revision) - site combination. The maintenance level baseline defines the typical breakdown the customer requires for a part and is used as a starting point when setting maintenance levels applicable for the work scope.
All the required subassembly parts will be automatically included when the maintenance level data is created for all sites. For more information, refer the Create Maintenance Level Data for all Sites activity. Once the maintenance level data is created, the maintenance level for each part can be entered in the Maintenance Level field found in the Maintenance Level Baseline tab.
The maintenance level baseline should be revised whenever default maintenance requirements change for the overhaul object or for the customer.
