Create and Maintain Minimum Release Life Information
Explanation
This activity is used to define minimum release life values for an overhaul
object. The default minimum release life value can be changed for each shop
visit.
The given minimum release life is used;
- As the required remaining life for all the life limited parts (LLPs)
in the structure of the overhaul object.
- As the default value for the work scope defined for a visit.
- In the conformance check for all LLPs that are not included in the work
scope.
Prerequisites
- The customer - overhaul object combination must be defined in the
Shop Visit Defaults page.
- The operational parameters for which minimum release life is to be specified
must be defined.
System Effects
- When evaluating the LLP events for a work scope, the default minimum
release life is retrieved for the corresponding operational parameter. The
minimum release life together with the calculated remaining life will be
used to indicate serials that have less than the required minimum release
life.
- The minimum release applied on the work scope will be used in the final
configuration conformance check for all LLPs not included in the work scope.
