Create MRO Object Receive Order for CAMRO Shop Visit (Create Visit PO)

Explanation

This activity is used to create a receive order for an MRO shop visit. The receive order is a type of purchase order used for receiving the overhaul object into inventory.

The overhaul object must be in inventory in order to start the IFS/Complex Assembly MRO flow. The receive order is also used for entering miscellaneous parts related to the MRO shop visit. There are parts that are not needed in the actual IFS/Complex Assembly MRO flow, but sometimes they have to be shipped back, such as packaging material. 

To create the receive purchase order, click New Receive Order. Only one receive order may be connected to the complex assembly work order.

Prerequisites

• The complex assembly work order must exist with a customer and coordinator specified for it.
• The customer on the work order must be defined as a customer of the supplier.
• The customer must be defined as an external customer.
• There cannot be an existing receive order reference on the work order.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, an MRO object receive order is created and connected to the complex assembly work order.
