Finite Schedule MRO Interim Order Structure

Explanation

You can finite schedule all shop orders connected to the interim order structure using Constraint-Based Scheduling (CBS), using the command Finite Schedule Order. Typically this will be done after disconnecting a repair order from the interim order structure. This activity will not update any date fields on interim orders belonging to the order structure. You will still need to use the command Update Dates From Supply in the MRO Interim Order Structure page and to pull the dates from the corresponding supply shop orders into the scheduled start and finish date fields in the interim orders.

Prerequisites

The interim order structure that will use finite scheduling cannot be in a Canceled or Closed state. In addition, at least some of the interim orders in the order structure must be released. The site associated with the overhaul part must be CBS scheduled.

System Effects

As a result of this activity the start and finish dates of the shop orders connected to the interim order structure may be changed.
