Propagate Dates To Supply

Explanation

You can propagate dates to supply after changes to the start and/or supply dates of an MRO interim order structure have been changed. This is to update Earliest Start Date and Need Date fields for the supply shop orders that have already been released from interim order structure.

Note: remember that the user has the option to create supply shop orders individually, for a given shop order type (e.g., disassembly) or for the entire structure. Only those supply orders which are in existence when this date propagation activity is performed can be updated. Supply shop orders that are created later will reflect the correct dates.

Prerequisites

The MRO interim order structure from which dates are being propagated cannot be in Canceled or Closed state. In addition, at least some of the interim orders in the order structure should have been released, creating supply shop orders. Any date changes done in an interim order must have been propagated upstream and/or downstream to update the other interim orders in the structure.

System Effects

The Earliest Start Date and Need Date fields on the existing supply shop orders are updated to reflect the start and/or supply date changes in the interim order structure.
