This activity is used to define the valid Sites for the Dynamic Work Scheduling Dataset.
A Dynamic Work Scheduling Dataset is the entity on which planning needs to be carried out. It can be a single Site or a collection of Sites. Multiple Dynamic Work Scheduling Datasets can be created to plan different Sites of an organization. However, it is important to note that different datasets are entirely independent of each other and know nothing about the existence or planning of other datasets.
When connecting Site(s) to a dataset, it is important to make sure Resources and Part stocks used by those Site(s) are not used by other Sites that are loaded into other Datasets. Site(s) are expected to be defined for a dataset so that same data, for example same Resources or Part Stocks are not sent to multiple Datasets.
