Use this activity to approve an isolation order. An isolation order states how a certain part of a facility should be shut down and started up again, so that the specified work can be carried out under safe conditions. An approved isolation order does not usually require a revision, however if such a requirement does arise you can revise it by changing the status to Under Preparation (in the commands, click on Status and click Revise). When the revision has been made you can once again approve the isolation order. Prepared Isolation order can be approved from the Approve Preparation sub-command in the sub-command list
In addition an isolation order with the Preparation Approved status can also be cancelled if required, provided it is not connected to a permit.
An isolation order must have been defined in the Isolation Order window, complete with establishment and re-establishment instructions.
As a result of this activity, the isolation order is approved and will receive the Preparation Approved status. You can now perform the establishment instructions.
