Use this activity to indicate in what sequence the equipment object or linear asset has to be placed into which ‘position’, so that the connected work order can be performed under safe conditions. In order to select a position for the object id, the object must have an object type defined, and positions must have been defined for the position type connected to the object type in Equipment Basic Data. In order to select a position for the linear asset, the linear asset must have an linear asset type defined, and positions must have been defined for the position type connected to the linear asset type in Linear Asset Basic Data.
