Remove Item

Explanation

To remove an item form the estimate tree structure, select it and click Item, then Remove Item. A top item may also be removed from the Estimate page. An item removed means that the record is deleted and it is no longer a part of the work scope. It is possible to delete an item as long no version of the item is in status Confirmed.

Prerequisites

• This activity requires that an estimate header exists in status InProgress, PartlyCalculated or Calculated, at least one version and top item must exists.
• Possible deliverable lines cannot be connected to business opportunity lines.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, an item record is removed from the work scope.
