Modify Date Applied
Explanation
Changing the transaction date can be useful if a transaction must be moved
to a previous accounting period. Perhaps the receipt was actually performed
yesterday but has remained unregistered in the system; in the meantime, the
period could have changed.
Prerequisites
- The indicator in the Has Transferred Postings should be No.
- The transaction may not have been transferred to IFS Financials, and
it must be correct.
- The new date may not belong to an accounting period that has already
been closed.
- The date for a reverse transaction must not be earlier than the original
transaction.
System Effects
As
a result of this activity, a specific transaction date is changed.
