The system uses this activity to synchronize currency rates
in IFS Cloud with the data in a third-party application.
If the currency rates are managed and owned by a third-party
application, the IFS Cloud data must be updated to match the data in the other
application. IFS Cloud receives the currency information from the other system
and automatically processes it by registering a new currency rate and activating
it, if necessary.
If any errors occur while IFS Cloud is receiving the updated
data, these can be viewed in the Financial Connector error lists.
There are no prerequisites to run this activity.
The activity results in new currency rate when appropriate. If the new currency code was not activated in the IFS Cloud's ISO Code Usage/Currency page, the system will also activate that code.
