Add Measurement
Explanation
You can add ad hoc measurements or measurements that were not specified
on the originating task definition, to a task.
Any measurements already
displayed on the task, are those that were added to the task
beforehand.
In the Mobile Forward/Line Maintenance application, you must select the step for which the measurement is
applicable and then select the measurement parameter to be added.
You can record measurement values when you
partially complete or complete work and then sign off these values.
You can also remove measurements from a task provided that the measurement was not originally defined on the synced
task and has not yet been signed off.
Prerequisites
- The status of the task is Active or In Work.
- Tasks must be migrated and synced from your primary M&E system.
- Measurement basic data such as measurement types, measurement
categories and engineering units must be be migrated from
your primary M&E system.
System Effects
- The measurement is added to the task and displayed in
Task Details.
- In the Mobile Forward/Line Maintenance application, the measurement
can be viewed on the step to which it was added.
- In the Mobile Forward/Line Maintenance application, the inventory,
based on the Config Position on the task, for which the measurement was
added, is also displayed.
