Copy Maintenance Program
Explanation
This activity is used to copy information from an existing maintenance program
to a new maintenance program. You can choose to copy an entire maintenance program
or select the information you want copied to the maintenance program. Following
copy options exist in the Copy Maintenance Program
assistant which can be opened from the pages listed under the Pages section:
- Access groups - Copy the access groups defined on the maintenance program
from which information is to be copied.
- Parts - Copy the parts defined on the maintenance program from which
information is to be copied.
- Part revisions - Copy the part revisions defined on the maintenance
program from which information is to be copied. Part revisions are dependent
on parts, therefore the Parts option must be enabled to
copy part revisions.
- Maintenance groups - Copy the maintenance groups defined on the maintenance
program from which information is to be copied.
- Intervals - Copy the maintenance intervals defined on the maintenance
program from which information is to be copied.
- Convenience tasks - Copy the convenience tasks defined on the maintenance
program from which information is to be copied.
- Documents - Copy the documents attached to the maintenance program from
which information is to be copied.
Prerequisites
- The maintenance program from which information is to be copied can have
any of the valid statuses (Preliminary, Active or Obsolete).
- The maintenance program to which information is to be copied must have
the Preliminary status.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, maintenance program information is copied to
the new maintenance program.
