Distribution allocation lines can be created manually or automatically. Once created, all allocation lines will be displayed on the Part Details List in two sections. The upper section will display lines with all the part numbers from the selected assortment and the total quantity allocated for that part for all sites in the site cluster. The lower section will display the different destination sites and the quantity of parts allocated from particular sites, for the part number of the line selected on the upper section.
To create distribution allocation lines automatically from Distribution Allocation or Distribution Allocations page, use command Create Allocation Lines.
To create distribution allocation lines manually create a new record in Distribution Allocation page.
