Use this activity to swap the connection between two fixed asset (FA) objects IDs and the two connected serials. If serial "A" is connected to FA object ID "A" and serial "B" is connected to FA object ID "B", then swapping serials will result in serial "A" connected to FA object ID "B" and serial "B" connected to FA object ID "A". This will not generate any inventory transactions.
In the FA Objects tab, select the line for one of the FA objects that should be swapped. Then click Swap Serials to open the Swap Serials page.
As a result of this activity, the connection between existing fixed asset objects and serials in a fixed asset rotable pool will be changed.
