Manage PM Program Revision

Explanation

Use this activity to create a new PM program revision from an existing revision.

A PM program with status Preliminary can be updated but once this status is changed to Active, the PM program is locked from editing. When a change is required, a new PM program revision has to be created.

New revisions can be created from PM program revisions in Active and Obsolete statuses if there is no PM program revision currently in the Preliminary status.

Prerequisites

• A PM program revision in Active or Obsolete status should exist in the system, revision control should be enabled and a PM program revision in Preliminary status should not exist. 

System Effects

• A new PM program revision will be created with status Preliminary, including the connections to work task templates (if applicable).
• The new revision will receive the Preliminary status.
