Analyze Shop Order Materials with Shortage
Explanation
Use this activity to analyze shop order material lines with shortages. A
shortage occurs when the quantity on hand is not enough to meet the quantity
required for a reservation.
Prerequisites
- A reservation must have been triggered for a shop order material
line, but failed to reserve the required quantity.
- The system parameter Shortage Handling in Parameters
for Distribution and Manufacturing must be set to Yes.
- The Shortage Notification option in Inventory
Part/Supply and Demand Controls section must be enabled
for the inventory part.
