Cancel Machine Downtime Result

Explanation

Use this activity to cancel reported machine downtime.

To cancel reported machine downtime from:

• Shop Floor Workbench page. Click Manage Downtime and then Reports. In the Downtime Reports dialog, select the relevant record and click Cancel Result.
• Shop Floor Reports page. Select the relevant record and click Cancel Result.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, machine downtime must have been reported by manually adding a time result. I.e. it may not have been reported by a start and stop clocking. In such a case, result can only be canceled by canceling the clocking record.

System Effects

As a result of this activity a reversal machine downtime history transaction (UNMCH_DOWN) is generated and the system returns to its original condition.
