Edit Clocking
Explanation
Use this activity to manually edit information like start and/or stop time
and crew size on an existing clocking record.
- To edit a labor, machine or interruption clocking from the Shop Floor Workbench
page, expand the operation, open the Clockings
tab and click Edit Clocking.
- To edit an indirect labor clocking from the Shop Floor
Workbench page, click Manage Indirect Time and then
Clockings. In
the Indirect Clockings dialog, click
Edit Clocking.
- To edit a machine downtime clocking from the Shop Floor
Workbench page, click Manage Downtime and then
Clockings. In
the Downtime Clockings dialog, click
Edit Clocking.
- To edit a clocking from the Shop Floor Clockings
page, click Edit Clocking.
Note that the type of clocking controls what information that can be
updated.
Prerequisites
- A clocking record must exist.
- For machine and interruption clockings, the time interval may not overlap
with any other clocking interval on the same operation.
- For labor clockings, the time interval may not overlap with any other
clocking interval on the same operation for the same employee.
- For indirect clockings, the time interval may not overlap with any other
clocking interval for the same employee.
- If an employee qualification requirement exists for the operation, and
the qualification check for the site is mandatory, then the employee logging
on to the shop floor workbench must have those qualifications.
System Effects
- As a result of this activity, all clockings within the same clocking
sequences will be updated with the new values specified.
- Possible operation/indirect/downtime history transaction will be reversed
and a new updated ones will be created.
