Join Team
Explanation
Use this activity to register that an employee has joined a team. The
activity can be performed in different ways from different pages:
- To join a team from Shop Floor Workbench
when identified as an employee, click Join Team and
select the team to join.
- To join a team from Shop Floor Workbench
when identified as a team, click Join Team and select
the employee that should join the team. If the Employee Card
Parameters has been defined for the current user you can
also identify the employee by swiping the employee card.
- To join a team from Current Team Employees
page, create a new line for the relevant team/employee and save.
- To join a team from Time Clock, click
Join Team and enter the team and employee information. Note: Depending on the Time Clock configuration,
some fields may be automatically filled with default data and thereby
the fields may be disabled or unavailable for editing.
Prerequisites
- Reporting Mode must be set to Employee Reporting on the used
site.
- An employee must have been defined on the Shop Floor Employee
page.
- A team must have been setup on the Shop Floor Teams
page.
- The employee may not have any ongoing clockings.
- To join a team from time clock, employee should be a time clock user.
- If the employee has a valid work schedule for time and attendance reporting,
the employee must be clocked in for the day.
- To identify an employee using magnetic card, the card details must have
been defined for the user on the Employee Card
Parameters page.
System Effects
- The employee will be added to the team.
- If the team is currently running any operation(s) or indirect job clockings
for the employee on the operation(s)/indirect jobs will be created.
