Click Activate to record the start of execution procedures for a new kanban circuit. When a circuit is activated, the system generates kanban cards for printing and deployment on the shop floor. The system is then ready to handle electronic replenishment activities such as replenishment requests and production reporting.
Click Validate Circuit to check if there are any problems resulting from the combination of inventory part and kanban circuit setup.
This activity requires the existence of a new circuit with a status of Inactive.
As a result of this activity new kanban cards are generated for the circuit. Typically, these cards are printed and deployed. Electronic replenishment activities are enabled for the circuit.
