Create Outside Operation Pick List
Explanation
Use this activity to create and optionally print a pick list for material
linked to an outside operation. I.e. the material to be sent to the supplier.
To create outside operation pick list from:
- Shop Order Operations Reporting Outside Operations
or Work Center Operations Reporting/Outside Operations
pages. Select the outside operation for which you want to create a pick
list and click Create Pick List.
- Shop Order/Operations
or Disposition Shop Order/Operations pages. Select
the outside operation for which you want to create a pick list, click
Reports and then Pick List per Operation.
- Shop Floor Workbench page. Select the
outside operation for which you want to create a pick list and click
Create Reports. Enable the Pick List
option and click Next.
In the assistant:
- In the Pick List(s) per drop-down, select the required type of consolidation.
- If you want to print the pick list, enable the Print Pick List
option.
- If you want to print media images and texts connected to the inventory
part on the pick list, enable the Print Attached Media Items
option.
- If you want to also print documents connected to the shop order material
line, enable the Print Attached Documents option.
- If you want to aggregate pick list lines for complete handling units
into a single summarized row on the pick list report, enable the Aggregate Complete Handling Units
option.
- If you want warehouse task(s) to be created, enable the Create Warehouse
Task option.
- If you want to run the process as a background job, enable the Run
in Background option.
Prerequisites
This activity requires that material is reserved and linked to the outside
operation.
System Effects
As a result of this activity the system prints a pick list for material linked
to the outside operation. The material reservations included on the pick list
cannot be included on any other pick list.
