Start Indirect Labor Time
Explanation
Use this activity to register that an employee, or a team has started
work on an indirect job.
To start indirect time from the Shop Floor Workbench
page:
- Click Start Indirect.
- Select an indirect job in the Indirect Job field.
- Optionally, enter the Work Center where the indirect job is
performed, and a note in the Clocking Note field.
To start indirect time from the Time Clock
client:
- Click Start Indirect and enter the Employee
or Team.
- Select an indirect job in the Indirect Job field.
- Optionally, enter the Work Center where the indirect job is
performed.
- Note: Depending on the Time Clock
configuration, some of these fields may be automatically filled with default
data and thereby the fields may be disabled or unavailable for editing.
Prerequisites
- Reporting Mode must be set to Employee Reporting on the used
site.
- An Employee must have been setup on the Shop Floor Employee
page.
- Indirect job must have been set up on the Indirect Jobs
page.
- To report from time clock, employee should be a time clock user. When
reporting as a team, all the employees in the team should be time clock
users.
System Effects
- One indirect clocking record will be created for each employee entered.
- If the Allow Concurrent Operation is set to No on the
Shop Floor Employees page, ongoing clockings for the employee
will be stopped.
