Verify the Calculation Formula for an Operational Parameter
Explanation
This activity is used to test the calculation of an operational parameter
formula. Each formula should be tested to prevent unwanted calculation
results during an operational logging.
- Formula can be tested by replacing all operational parameters with 1
(one), in order to identify any syntax errors in the formula. Syntax errors
could be misplaced or missing brackets or left or right parenthesis.
- Formula can be tested once again using the value 0 (zero) in order to
detect any errors when dividing by 0. If errors related to zero divide exists,
an error message will be displayed.
- Formula can also be tested by entering negative values as operational
parameters.
Prerequisites
To perform this activity, formulas must have been entered for the operational
parameter.

As a result of this activity, a validated formula will be available for use.
