Use this page to compare two Master Schedule sets for a given Level 0 or Level 1 part using a specific period template and its associated calendar. The results of the comparison can help you to analyze the differences between forecasts and supply. You can view the comparison as a graph or as a data table using the tabs in the page. Additionally, the date of today and planning and demand time fences are marked on the graph to make the analysis and comparison more easier.
This activity requires the existence of a Level 0 or Level 1 part with forecast and supply data for more than one Master Schedule set.
As a result of this activity, the system compares the two selected MS sets for the MS Level 1 part or MS Level 0 part as selected, for the periods within the selected period template (dates which have data from master schedule level will be shown). The results of this comparison appear in a table that includes the forecasts for the selected level 1 or level 0 part and its two user selected MS sets. In addition, the table contains columns that show the cumulative forecasts and supply along with the forecast and supply variances. This data helps you to analyze the differences between the forecasts and supply.
