This activity is used to enter product family master data for MS Level 0 and Sales and Operations Planning parts. Selecting an MS Set is mandatory in order to use Sales and Operations Planning and is also used for monetary equivalent calculations in MS Level 0.
The part must be defined in Inventory Part with planning method set as O.
As a result of this activity, the part can be used in master scheduling.
