Assign Revision to Site
Explanation
Use this activity to assign an engineering revision to a site. This will
link this part/revision to the current site record, but will not transfer the
revision.
Prerequisites
This activity has the following prerequisites:
- The destination site must exist in the system
- The engineering revision must exist.
System Effects
As a result of this activity:
- The system assigns an engineering revision to a site.
- If the assignment takes place in the Engineering
Revision Transfers window, the engineering revision is moved
from Engineering Revision Transfers
to the Engineering
Revision Transfer Actions window.
- In Engineering
Revision Transfer Actions, the action status for the part(s)
is set to Assigned.
