Use this activity to change the state of a structure or routing alternate to Tentative or the state of the routing alternate to Tentative or Plannable. A structure or routing alternate in Tentative state is invisible to the system for allocations, demands, order operations, load, and planning and costing purposes. You can freely modify the structure or routing alternate and its components or operations at this state. The state of the structure or routing alternate can be changed to Plannable, Buildable, or Cancelled. A routing alternate in Plannable state is only used for planning and costing purposes. You cannot create order operations or load for a part with its routing alternate in Plannable state. You can freely modify the routing alternate and its components or operations at this state. The state of the routing alternate can be changed to Buildable or Cancelled.
This activity requires that the structure or routing alternate must be in Cancelled state.
As a result of this activity, the system changes the state of the structure alternate to Tentative. The state of the routing alternate is changed back to either Plannable or Tentative, depending on the state before the cancellation.
