This activity is used to define valid functions per fault codes. The functional breakdown is used to identify where on the serial or vehicle a fault occurred. Fault modes are based on the fault functions that are defined for a product model.
Fault Functions can be defined from Fault Functions page in Operations and Fault Basic Data or in Maintenance Program Basic Data.
Note: When defining a Fault function, in the Post Maint Check ID field and the Post Maint Check Revision field, select the identifier and revision of the post maintenance check that is to be carried out after the fault event, which has this fault function defined, has been finished.
