Disable Fault Deferral
Explanation
This activity is used to disable a fault deferral that was, for instance,
incorrectly added. When disabled, the deferral is removed from the system. Note
that it is not possible to disable a fault deferral once it has been approved.
- To perform this activity open the Manage Fault
Information page and search for the necessary fault number.
From there select Remove Fault Deferral option to remove the fault
deferral for the fault.
- To remove a fault deferral that was reported on a flight log, open the
Flight Log page and search for your flight log number or serial.
Click the Fault tab to select the relevant fault number from
the drop-down and select Remove Fault Deferral option.
Prerequisites
- A fault with enabled fault deferral information must exist for a serial.
- You must have access to the product model.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the fault deferral is disabled and removed
from the system.
